2024 African World Festival Vendor Application - Waitlist

Celebrating the rich diversity of the African Diaspora, the 41st Anniversary African World Festival (AWF) returns to Hart Plaza, downtown Detroit Riverfront, Friday - Sunday, July 12-14, 2024. Presented by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, AWF provides the ultimate cultural arts and entertainment experience for the whole family.

The Vendor APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE has passed (FRIDAY April 26th, 2024).

We are now in the process of confirming participating vendors. We are compiling a waitlist for spaces that are not filled by current applicants by June 15th.

Available spaces will be assigned to approved applicants on the waitlist. Placement from the waitlist is dependent upon available space, size of booth and type of product sold. Selected Waitlisted applicants will be notified between June20 and June 25, 2024. Payment is due upon notification.

Marketplace Vendor: General Sales: Artwork, Jewelry, Books, Clothing, etc.
Food Village: Food, Trucks and Specialty Items. (Beverages provided by AWF only)
Non-Profit Organization: Community Based and 501-C3.
Community Outreach: Display, Information Sharing, No Sales.
Pop-up Vendors please be prepared to remove items daily as location subject to change.
